New friends, personal growth, and outrageous fun!

We are looking forward to an exciting summer program! Horses and riders in summer camp will be matched according to ability and compatibility. There will be daily riding lessons in addition to instruction on horse care and stable management. Riders of all levels will have the opportunity to learn the many aspects of caring for and handling horses. Topics covered may include, but are not limited to; basic riding skills, cleaning and maintaining tack, grooming and safety around horses, horse anatomy — in short, all of the things a good rider needs to know.

Summer Camp Sessions run from 9am until 3pm Tuesday through Friday. This includes a 1 hour lunch break (lunch not provided). Summer camp is designed for children ages 8 years and older.

Three summer camp sessions will be offered in 2009:

~First Session: June 23rd-26th. We plan on having quite a few novice riders and first timers in this session, so our instruction level will be catered
to such...

~Second Session: July 28th-31st. This week will be a great opportunity to build on the skills our campers learned in the first session, and will
have instruction for novice through intermediate riders.

~Third Session: August 18th-21st. In our final session, we will feature a mini "horse show' with games and ribbon awards. We will also showcase
our crafts and artwork through the summer, and invite parents for a day to see their child's accomplishments.

Our 2009 summer camp rates will be $450 per week, or $1200 for the entire summer! Each week we will be learning something new, but don't worry, each week will accomodate new riders, so it is not required to do more than a week.... even though you'll be having so much fun you'll want to! Our regular students may participate in the camps at a reduced rate of $150/week off. Maybe get a headstart on riding and start with lessons now!

All students must have a riding helmet, appropriate riding pants and boots with a heel. ** (No tennis shoes allowed) **

Lessons are offered to both children and adults, ranging from the beginner to intermediate levels. Whether you are preparing for your first horse show or coming back to the sport, Windfall Farm Academy helps riders achieve their goals through horsemanship skills and english hunter/jumper riding fundamentals.
